Making The Cliche Fall Foliage Photo

Today I was up on campus making some photos. It might be the last nice day to do so. I decided since nobody was around that I would make the cliche fall foliage photo. Wouldn’t you know it another photographer came walking up and caught me doing it? It is okay to make the cliche photo, but just don’t post it to your blog. Crap I did that too.

Using The 24-105mm Lens

For the last couple of days I have posted old vacation photos where I am using my Canon 24-105mm II lens. I loved my first 24-105 and the version 2 was just as good. The very first Sony lens that I purchased was the 24-105. I is a great walk around lens. You have a pretty wide 24mm and you can zoom into 105mm. On this walk I used both ends of that spectrum and some ground in between. If you are starting off and you need one lens to use for everything it is hard to go wrong with this one.
