A Snow Day On The Campus Of Purdue University

This was a fun photo that I made during a walk around the campus of Purdue University on a beautiful snowy day. I was having some fun using my flash to illuminate the snow flakes in front of me. This is widely known as snokeh. A while back I wrote up a post showing how I create these photos. You can find that here. It is a great way to add depth to your photo.

Bringing Some Color To The Photo

I used an old preset that I have not used in a while to bring some color to this photo. By using some colorful gradients I was able to inject some color into this dull photo. I don’t like adding things to photos, but in the winter a little color never hurt anyone. Who wants to look at dull photos all of the time.
