The Mute Swan Patrols The Celery Bog

It was about a year ago when I started jokingly call the mute swans of the Celery Bog the Killer Mute Swans of the Celery Bog. One day at the bog I had seen one that was in a bad mood taking on all kinds of birds including an epic fight with another mute swan. It was a title that stuck. I always had that image from Monty Python of the old ladies walking down the street beating up all the young boys. That is what these beautiful birds reminded me of. You would never guess that they are bullies, but they are.

The Sony 200-600mm Lens

This lens is amazing for wildlife. On a day with plenty of light you could not ask for more. You can make photos up close or at 600mm. With the Sony 1.4x teleconverter on it you are at f/9, but you still have all of the amazing autofocus that you would have without it. When I first switched to Sony I had some doubts if I was doing the right thing. It was a big deal. As I have used this stuff over the course of the last few months or so I have realized that I did exactly what I needed to do. Sony was right for me. You always want the right tools for you work, and right now Sony is the best. They are the right tool for me.
