Stopping In Cumberland, Maryland

Taking A Rest In Cumberland, Maryland

This summer during one of our trips east we rested for the night in Cumberland, Maryland. This is a cool little town that has a bit of history to it. The family went downstairs at our hotel to eat, and I skipped the meal to walk the town. We rolled in when it was dark so I was happy to get to see some of the sights before we left. Right away I spotted this great old building. I knew right away how I wanted to process it. This great building was just a few steps into my walk. That is a great way to start things out.

The Great Travel Lens

My most used lens over time is the 24-105mm. This photo was one of the last made with my second Canon version. When I stepped into the world of Sony the 24-105 was the first lens that I bought. For stuff around the house and travel it is by far my favorite lens. The Sony is the third version of this lens that I have owned, and I think that some version of the 24-105 will always be in my travel bag.
