The Ribbon Leads The Way

Looking Up For A Surprise

We spent a lot of our free day in Pittsburgh at the Children’s Museum. This is a great museum where our little one had a great time. We could have spent a few days there I think. In the first room that we entered we found that it was all about inspiration. They had these great ribbons hanging from above. These ribbons lead the eye straight up to the top of the dome. Right away I knew that I would make a picture, and I was upset that I didn’t have my 11-24mm lens on me.

The Old North Post Office

This part of the children’s museum actually used to be a post office. It is hard to believe in the way that things are built now that such a beautiful building was a post office. Now they make them more for function than beauty. Thankfully though we still have these reminders of how there can be beauty in everything.
