This was a fun photo from a trip to Chicago with my wife about a five years ago. We were walking the city looking for something interesting, and this certainly was something interesting. This tavern is definitely something interesting. I loved the way that this neon looked in the dark of the near tunnel the tavern is located in.

As a kid I was a huge fan of Saturday Night Live. I believe it was Nickelodeon that played small 30 minute versions of the classic episodes. With SCTV following it up I had a great comic base early on in life. This Billy Goat sketch was a classic example of a comedian taking something from real life and turning it into comedy.
