Purdue Comes Back Home To Defeat Ohio
Last night Purdue played their first home game in quite a while. I haven’t seen them in Mackey since the day after Thanksgiving. Here it is almost Christmas before I see them at home again. It was a good homecoming as they handled Ohio easily to get back in the win column again.
Shooting With The 400mm Again
I had a slightly different plan last night than I had on Wednesday. I was going to primarily shoot with my 400mm lens, but I wanted to make a couple of photos with my 24-70mm lens as well. The 400 was so much fun to shoot with that I did not make as many wide shots as I had planned. I have a weird definition of fun. It is not easy making good photos at f/2.8 with that 400 so close. The challenge is what is fun though. I think I may do this all again today.
Going Wide Early
For the opening introductions I used my 24-70mm lens. I really wanted to try and get some wide shots of Mackey. I love that place, and it is great being back in there shooting again. With one more chance to shoot a men’s game in 2018 I have to really do something cool to make an image for my top stadium shots of 2018.
