Going Back To A Familiar Place

This past weekend I was in Columbus, Ohio to photograph a wedding. On my way into town I made sure that I stopped in Hilliard, Ohio to make a few pictures. It was in Hilliard five years ago where I was married. It was not an elaborate ceremony like the one that I would photograph, but it is the place where I married my wife. With that in mind the town has a special meaning for me. I wanted to have a few photos of the town for myself as I didn’t even take my camera with me that day in 2013. I had a couple of ideas in mind to photograph with my drone, but I was only able to photograph the water tower before the rain came in. I am still glad that I made the trip though.

The Week In Photos

This past week was a week where I was getting ready to photograph a wedding. Something happens to me where I sort of shut down a bit. I am packing my gear and really focusing on what I need to do on the weekend. I realized that I barely shot anything for most of the week leading up to the wedding. With that said I was really excited to make some photos by the time I made it to Columbus. You can view my favorite photos from last week here.
