Walking Around Boston In The Morning

Part of the fun of visiting a big city during the week is the fact that everyone is at work when you are out making images. I had a lot of the city to myself at times. Here in the park I only had one other person in the way of me making this photo. These are the times in photography that I like the best. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I seem to always find myself on fields with thousands of people around me. I really enjoy these little quiet moments where it is just me and my subject.

Making The Most Of A Bad Situation

My goal with this great sky was to make a cool wide shot of the statehouse that you can see in the background here. I was all ready to make my picture when a random car came up and parked in a parking spot. Can you believe it? Who parks in front of a building? It happens I guess so I scrapped the initial idea, and I came up with the photo that you see above. It was not the epic statehouse picture that I had in mind, but it was a photo from the week that I liked.
