Having Some Fun During a Shoot
On International Peace Day I had a shoot in the morning at a local school. While waiting for the event to start I had some fun with the flowers in the courtyard. I worked with the light to give me this bright sunflower against the blue sky. These shots are a dime a dozen, but that doesn’t mean that you still can’t make one for yourself. This was a great way to start the day, and a good way to get some content on a day that I was not sure I would be able to get some content for this blog.
From Light To Dark
On the first photo I was wanted everything bright from the flower to the sky. The flower being yellow is still the brightest thing, and what your eye should be drawn to first. In the photo directly above the light does the work for me. The background was dark and the foreground is of course yellow. It was a cool way to make a completely different photo than I had just made. Both of these photos just took a few minutes to make, but they made the job start off well knowing that I had a couple of photos under my belt.
