Capturing the Movement of a Large Group
Last summer I went on a photowalk with Trey Ratcliff who really has influenced my photography. When on a huge photowalk it is much harder to make images because you have a couple of hundred people in the way. At one point of the walk I decided to use that to my advantage and capture some of the group in a unique way. I found a background that I liked, and moved ahead of the group. I then sat my tripod down, and let the group move around me as I had my shutter open. I like the way that they seem to flow around me.
Faces of Baseball
I have been releasing a photo a day over on facesofbaseball.com this week. This is a fun way for me to get out and do something different while I am photographing a game. I love capturing the players and the people around the game of baseball. Keep checking back as the photos keep being released.
