Watching the Sun Set at Victory Field
One of the fun things about covering baseball games is heading out of the photo pits when the light is right. I really love making good action shots, but I love these type of photos. I had this idea of making a photo with the Ryne Sandberg jersey as the subject with the field in the background. Then the cotton candy vendor walked into the frame. They photo then became a wide shot with the cotton candy vendor adding to it. I thought that this was a good representation of a Friday night at Victory Field. This is a beautiful stadium, and when the light cooperates it becomes even more beautiful.
The Photos of the Week
As I usually do I have compiled some of my favorite photos from the past week into one Exposure page. This week I shot three baseball games, but also had a little racing thrown in to spice things up a bit. You can see some of my favorite photos from the past week here. I have been doing this for about four months though, and it has been fun to look back at images that I enjoy each week.
