Wotan Plays in the Snow at Wolf Park

A little more than a year ago I had a great day inside the enclosure of Wolf Park. I spent the day with renewed wolf photographer Monty Sloan photographing Wotan and Dharma. Monty has a great relationship with the wolves, and that allowed us to get up close and personal with them. For the shot above I was down low as Wotan returned to us from the frozen pond. He had just had his snout in the snow, and as he raised it a little fell off. It was a great moment that my Canon 7D Mark II allowed me to capture.

The Beauty of Wolves

I love going to Wolf Park. The wolves are absolutely beautiful, and the park allows you to get up close and personal with them. They have a great mission as they learn more about wolves. With that in mind I have always given any profits from my Wolf Park photos back to the park.
