Purdue Football vs. Illinois

Photographing College Football

Since this is a photo blog I will not talk about the details of the game today, but rather talk about shooting the game. Today was one of those days where things just didn’t seem to be coming to me. The one thing that did come was the light. As the sun went down part of the field was in the shadow of the press box. For the second half of the game except for one drive I shot from the south end zone. I decided to take the light that was given to me. One shot that I liked was this touchdown pass by David Blough to the corner of the end zone. I have only gone through a handful of my photos from the game, but this was one that stuck out to me. It is not the normal type of photo that I make.

More Photos From the Game

I have only downloaded one card from the game, but here are a couple of images that stuck out to me on the first pass. You can find the full gallery here on my website. I don’t think that I will create an Exposure page this week. Purdue Athletics has created a very good one that you can find here.
