The Sudden End to a Beautiful Wolf

Today I had planned on sharing a picture from our trip to Disney World. I made some interesting pictures on the trip, and I planned on sharing a few over the course of the next week or so. As I was getting ready to write the first post today I noticed that Wolf Park had an update. Reading it I was shocked to see that what I would call their signature wolf Dharma had passed. Something apparently went very, very wrong about a week ago inside the enclosure. Some of the wolves tried to get out and escape, and Dharma ended up with very bad wounds from a fight. The wounds were too much for her and she was put down. I saw Dharma very early in her life when she was a beautiful black wolf. Her image has graced this blog a few times over the course of the blog’s existence. This past winter I was lucky enough to get inside the enclosure to photograph here. Little did I know that it would be the last time that I would see here. It is a tough day for Wolf Park
