When An Engagement Session is Easy

Saturday morning I had an engagement session with Lindsey and Dave. I will be photographing their wedding in November, and we waited until the weather turned a little nicer to get out to make some photos. We started out at the Lafayette Brewing Company and then moved to a couple of locations in downtown Lafayette. One thing that remained constant during the session was the way that the couple interacted. They really love each other, and that made making photos of them easy. They did all the work, and I just had to press the shutter to capture it. I was looking forward to shooting their wedding, but now I really can’t wait for it to get here. They are a great couple that will make the day very easy. 

The Great Folks at the Lafayette Brewing Company

The Lafayette Brewing Company is a special place for me. That is where I went on my first date with my wife. I have always wanted to photograph it a little more than I have, and Saturday I had that chance. The people at the brewery were nice enough to open up the upper level for us to use. They really didn’t have to, but they did for us. That is where we made some great photos, and I think it really made the session.
