Back to the Barns

Yesterday I was back out near the windmills making some photos. I saw this steel barn, and I knew that I had to make a photo of it. The sky was a terrible gray though so I knew that I would end up converting this to black and white. I liked the idea of having the harvest in the foreground with the barn in the backdrop. I have photographed this barn in the past, but I tried to make too wide of a scene. Here I just zoomed in to get what I thought was important. When I am not shooting a sport in the next few weeks I would like to get out and make some photos of the fall. This is a beautiful time of year that gives us the last color for a while. Of course the first photo that I make in that time I take the color out.
