Photo of the Day
For some reason the person on the wall in the photo really looked like the actor Sam Elliott to me. I thought that it made for a good foreground with some of the high rise buildings of Chicago behind it. When I come here I usually shoot in the opposite direction with some of the other building of Chicago in the background. I had done that very thing the day before. This trip was all about trying new things so I liked the change up here. You also can’t beat having a man who was in Roadhouse and Tombstone in your photo.
Technical Data
This photo was edited using a preset called tonal contrast in Lightroom 5. It adds a lot of what I like with the HDR Look preset, but it gives me a slightly lighter photo at the end. I performed a couple of tweaks to the sliders, and this was ready to export to SmugMug.
