Yesterday I photographed senior day for the Boilermaker softball team. I talked a little in yesterday’s post about how a player leaving is a sad day, but the emotions make for great images. I saw a lot more of that yesterday as Purdue said goodbye to seven members of its softball squad. The day was filled with ceremony as well as baseball, but the real fun came right at the end when some of the underclassmen hit the seniors with some silly string. After some tears during an emotional run of the bases it really lightened the mood. Sometimes it is the images that you do not expect to make that make the best images.

I have really been having a great time with the Exposure website. Going into a series with a page in mind really helps me look outside the box a bit, and in the process make some images that I would not normally make. Here is a link to my page from this past weekend.
