Photo of the Day
For some reason this sight from New York’s Central Park has always reminded me of the movie Ghostbusters. It is hard to believe that one of my favorite movies of all time is going to be 30 years old this year. Bill Murray made a movie that I like even more called The Razor’s Edge that same year. Two of my favorite movies will be thirty this year, but they both hold up very well over time.
For years now I have heard talk that a third Ghostbusters movie is in the works. Ghostbusters 3 would be exiting, but I think that ultimately it would disappoint. Ghostbusters II was not that good of a movie. It is just hard to top a great movie. Who knows what the future will hold though. Apparently the original gang is getting back together to make another Star Wars movie so you can never count anything out.
Technical Data
For this image I wanted to take the flat jpeg file and make it stand out a bit. I used the sliders inside of Lightroom 5 to get the look that I wanted. Now I would shoot with a certain look in mind. Back when this was taken in 2008 I would just let the auto modes of my camera take over. Thanks to Lightroom though I can develop my older images to look like I would have liked them to look at the time that I took them.
