Photo of the Day
A couple of weeks ago I was starting to move the grill in the backyard when I noticed something on it. I have not seen a praying manits for quite some time. I told everyone to stay away from it, and I ran in to get the camera. My parents had not been over for very long, and they had to wonder what I was doing. I grabbed my camera, and rushed over to get a shot. I thought that the side panel of the grill nearly gave me a nice clean white background. I made a couple of pictures, and then my subject was gone. It was fun while it lasted though.
Technical Data
The main thing here is that I grabbed my 70-200mm lens to make this picture. I do not have a macro lens, and I felt like the 70-200mm lens gave me the best chance to get in tight on the mantis. I did very little processing in Lightroom on this picture. I really liked it as natural as possible.
