Photo of the Day
Today I thought that I would share this picture that I took last week. I was helping my brother move, and we found a place that would take the U-Haul back later than any other. When we pulled up the first thing that I noticed was the lack of U-Hauls, but the fact that there was a camel for rent sign. Sure enough just a few feet away from the sign was a live camel just waiting to be rented. The first thought that I had was why do you need to rent a camel? Maybe that is a question best left unanswered. I did not have my dSLR, but I did have my new point and shoot sitting in the car. I fired it up to make a couple of pictures of the camel. While I was doing that a couple of goats thought that it was feeding time and came over. I tried to time my shot just right, and with the point and shoot I was lucky that it worked. I made a shot without a bar in the way, and somewhat like a wide angle shot. By the time this posts I will have been back to the same location again to drop off another U-Haul truck. You can be sure that I will have the wide angle lens on this time.
Technical Data
Not much was done to this image. After importing it into Lightroom I applied the sport gameday light preset that I picked up for free from Matt Kloskowski’s blog. I then adjusted the highlights to bring some of them back. Other than that the image was not altered. A very easy edit for an easy picture.
