Photo of the Day
When the Super Bowl was in Indianapolis I went down to get some pictures of the town just before it went on the big stage. I came away with many pictures that I really liked. One of those that has gotten me some notice was actually Day 114 of my photo 365 project. Since posting that picture I have used many pictures from that day on the blog. When I went up to scout the sunset photo that I would take later that night I took a picture of Lucas Oil Stadium all decked out for the big game. I then turned towards the city to see what would happen. The sky was very boring, but that is where black and white can come into play.
Technical Data
This shot was processed using the HDR Black and White (Strong) preset in Lightroom that I downloaded free from Matt Kloskowski’s web site. I normally don’t use the strong preset, but I really like what it did here. I worked the sliders in Lightroom a bit to make the picture look good. In the end I liked the result here.
