Photo of the Day
While on a photowalk in Colorado I had an idea. I was actually going to try this idea further down the road the previous day, but the sign did not face the correct way. I was very happy though when things turned out for me here. I wanted something that would show Hahn’s Peak, but also give some sort of sense of place. The street signs for the handful of cabins out there seemed to do that just fine for me. I took much better pictures out there, but for some reason I keep coming back to this one. I really like how the colors play off of each other. This is a great reminder for me of the road that the cabin that I stayed in was on. I probably walked by this sign everyday at some point. I have already posted some pictures from my adventure out there, but I have plenty more that will probably keep coming as the days go by. I even have a special Valentine’s Day picture set for tomorrow.
Technical Data
For this shot I used Matt Kloskowski’s HDR Look Light preset for Lightroom to start off here. From there I tweaked the exposure, highlights, and white balance. This was an easy edit for a picture that I was very happy to get right in the camera.

Great description of the shot.
Thank you very much
