Tuesday night I was again at a Purdue basketball game. The Boiler athletic department had a great promotion that turned the stadium into a huge bullseye. They have tried different color schemes in the past, but the fans really don’t seem to play along. Tuesday they fixed that problem by placing a shirt on every seat. From the moment I sat in my seat I wanted to snap a picture. Just the fans wearing their shirts with the empty seats still colored looked cool. I held off though until the stadium was full. That is another great thing as the stadium was packed last night making this promotion really look good. I know this cost a lot of money, but I would love to see something like this again. Maybe they could even put a design in the works as the student section could say something.

Technical Data

Since I loaded this picture with my action shots from the night it came into Lightroom with the light sports preset attached to it. From there I just had to tweak the picture a bit to get it to where I liked it. First off I really turned down the vignette that is part of the preset. Then I upped the highlights and shadows a bit to get the arena a little lighter. I also upped the vibrance to bring out the colors in the shirts a bit more. In the end I really liked this shot.
