Photo of the Day
Last night while getting some Christmas pictures I saw this very cool scene. Somehow in entering the house I did not see this Nutcracker with the tree behind him. It was only at the point when we were getting ready to go that I saw this. That just goes to show you that you should look all around you. As I was editing this picture I realized that I should have put a two in the right side of this nutcracker so that I could have a numbered post for the 12th. I will have to think of something for that day I guess.
Technical Data
I used my quick portrait Lightroom preset here to get this shot close. From there I had to try and lighten up the nutcracker without blowing out the tree. This would have been a great time to try HDR, but of course I have sort of forgotten about that. I tired to work the sliders a bit to get the best result that I could here.
