Photo of the Day
I have been meaning to do a post about the local camera shop for a while now. I just have not gotten around to doing it. About a month ago I learned that they would not be open much longer. It really is sad that a local business with such good customer service is going by the wayside. With the internet though, and the quick and easy deals on there local just can’t compete anymore. I spent a little more to shop there for the service. It is a shame that Berry’s Camera Shop is closing because I like to see things before I buy them. They have always gone out of their way to help me when I needed something. With their great renting program I was able to rent my 70-200mm lens before I bought it. I will probably not get back into Berry’s before they close on Friday so it was a sad day for sure. I know that I can probably find things cheaper on the internet, but you can’t buy the service. I don’t know what will happen on the corner of Fourth and Ferry after Berry’s closes its doors for good, but I think the loss will be felt for a while here in the Lafayette community.
Technical Data
I made this one very easy so that I could post it tonight. I just ran it through Matt Kloskowski’s Desaturated Sports Medium preset in Lightroom. From there I made a couple of adjustments before exporting the photo.
