Photo of the Day
This shot was never really meant to see the light of day. I went to the top of this parking garage to see what my view of the stadium would be when the sun went down. I took a test shot to see what I could get in my viewfinder. I saw a sunburst so I didn’t delete it right away. All the prep led to one of my favorite shots in my 366 project. I called it A Super View, and I guess this picture shows that some prep went into it. Here is the picture after the sun went down. A lot of things happened at the right time to make an interesting picture. Indianapolis did a fantastic j0b hosting the Super Bowl. I took a lot of pictures that day, and a lot of them will find their way onto this site as time goes by.
Technical Data
As I was going through some older pictures I ran the three images used to make this through Photomatix from Lightroom. I then brought the 32 bit file back into Lightroom to use those powerful sliders on it. I kind of liked the desaturated look, and I knew that it would be a decent shot. When I edited this all in Photomatix the night that I took it I thought it looked a bit unreal. This looked much better.
