Photo of the Day
I say rain again with a little sarcasm. We really have not seen any rain this summer so this soaking rain tonight is much needed. I was outside in the garage for a while tonight just watching it come down. I decided that since I did not yet have a picture tonight that I could see what I could get. I tried a couple of things, but it was this first picture that I went with. I really liked how the rain can be seen streaking down the picture as well as dripping off the leaves. When you are in a drought you take what you can get.
Technical Data
This was another shot edited completely in Lightroom, but much quicker than normal. I adjusted the white balance to cloudy to get things where I thought they should be. I also made slight exposure, highlights, and clarity adjustments. I really like the look I can achieve with Lightroom, and I think that I will leave HDR to the situations that really call for it.

That’s out weather at the moment. We get one sunny day, 6 rainy cloudy days. Very unusual for here.
I find it quite hard to capture the rain properly. You did a good job!
