Day 300 Bonus: the Approaching Storm Part Deux

So I couldn’t wait until tomorrow and I edited this picture just after I walked upstairs. I really wanted to see what it looked like in black and white. I think that this should have been the shot the whole time. I really don’t see things that way so I have to be hit on the head to realize when something should be monochrome.

Technical Data

To get this shot converted I downloaded the file from Dropbox to my iPad. I then opened the file in Snapseed and hit the black and white tab. The program gives you some presets, but I like playing with sliders so went that route. I bet there are programs that could have made this look better, but for now I really like this image.
