Photo of the Day
Today was our first full day in Ocean City. We spent the majority of the day on the beach, but we also got to walk on the boardwalk a bit in the daylight for the first time. The highlight of that walk had to be the Ocean Gallery. This little tongue in cheek art gallery was a photographers dream. I took many, but chose this shot for a little background on the gallery. I am sure that a couple more shots of this gallery will show up on this blog in the future. I have taken close to 1,000 pictures on this trip so far. Some of them are personal and will never make this site. Others though will make up the site content when this 366 project is over.
Technical Data
I edited this shot many ways, but the picture you see above is the metered exposure. I was thinking HDR when I took this shot. After I processed it in Photomatix I realized a lot of post work would have been necessary in Photoshop. I had a Lightroom version that I liked as well, but no way to post it. I used some tools in the Photoshop Express app for the iPad, but it look too processed to me. In the end I liked this metered exposure he best.
