Day 290 Bonus: The T-Bird in It’s Habitat

Last night we also came across a Ford Thunderbird at Dancing in the Streets. When I took this shot I immediately said that it was the photo of the day. I even processed this one first thinking that it was for sure. I did like the Impala shot as well so they both get inclusion in this project. This shot really got me started focusing on the details of the cars. I was taking full body shots of the cars until I came up on this classic car. I loved the detail here with the nameplate and the vent so I wanted that to be showcased. This started a trend that lasted the rest of the shoot.

Technical Data

This is yet another shot processed in Lightroom. At one point I thought that the site should have been renamed the HDR Photo of the Day, but now things are evening out nicely. Not a whole lot was done with this photo. I performed a small crop as well as slightly changing the exposure as well as the clarity. In the end I really liked the shot right out of the camera.
