Photo of the Day
Today I really was struggling for a photo of the day. I have seen some very nice older vehicles lately, but I can’t seem to shoot them the way that I feel I can. I decided that some practice in the driveway was in order. I really wanted to concentrate on the Ford emblem on the front of the car. I think that I should have cleaned the bugs off first, but this was practice after all. Tens of people will see this post though so maybe I should have cleaned it. I like how the shot turned out aside from the bugs, and maybe tomorrow I will give another persons car a shot. Maybe they will do the cleaning that I didn’t.
Technical Data
This was processed entirely in Lightroom. I downloaded a tutorial for the iPad today by Matt Koskowski, but I have yet to watch it. In it he explains Lightroom a bit, and maybe I can get a good start point off of that. I feel that right now I am stuck on the same sliders. I like how this turned out, but maybe I am missing something in the program. Another note is that this was shot in aperture priority mode. I don’t use this mode often. I usually stay in manual mode, but tonight I wanted to let the camera do most of the work. I think that in the end it worked out for the best.
