Day 244: Lost In Transit

Today is the 2/3 mark of this project. I think that I have come a long way so far, and I really wanted a cool picture to represent how far I have come. The fact that the transit of Venus fell on this day gave me the perfect opportunity to get something special up on the blog to celebrate another small milestone. Of course the clear morning skies gave way to clouds as the afternoon progressed. The transit should have just been starting as I took this picture. In the end I don’t think that it really mattered as I really do not have the equipment to shoot directly at the sun. I think that I am pushing it sometimes shooting my sunset shots. After missing the annular eclipse a couple a weeks ago you think I would have been prepared for this, but I was not. Maybe by 2017 I can get a good eclipse shot.
