Day 240: A New Frontier

Today we made the long trip from West Lafayette to Sacramento. We flew in two planes to get across the country. This shot was just before we boarded our second plane in Denver. I ran the three pictures that I took handheld in Photomatix, but I did not like the results. I was going to doctor up the HDR shot by running the correct exposure through Topaz Adjust and then fixing the problem areas. I ended up liking the Topaz shot enough to just post that one. It may pop too much, but I like the result. This is the start of four days here in California so expect a lot of pictures as it is my first trip to the state. Hopefully I can get something great tomorrow. As of this writing though I have been up 20 hours so I feel that I need to get some sleep.
