Day 234: Grilling Time!

Yesterday I was at a party where we were grilling out. It was a charcoal grill which many do not use anymore. I wanted to get this picture because it symbolizes what this weekend is all about for many. Tomorrow I will have a post showing what it really will be about, but for now just enjoy the view of our burgers cooking on the grill. I put the 50mm lens on the camera to get this shot. I had been shooting the dogs just before this, and I didn’t change my aperture back to get the really blurred look that I thought I wanted. In the end I think that this shot came out pretty good. I didn’t want to get too close and grill my lens so I picked a burger and the centered it around the rest of them. I know that your subject shouldn’t be in the middle of the picture, but this is the way that it worked best. Who wants to see the side of the grill?
