I know it is two days late, but here is another shot from the speedway that I took on Friday. Luck played a big part in getting this shot. I was on the other side of the pagoda when the race started. A crash on lap four brought all the cars back to pit road. By that time I had made it down here looking for some friends, and I knew that I had to grab this shot. This is a three shot HDR using the +2, 0, and -2 exposures. I thought that I might have to clean up some ghosting, but it really was not bad. I liked the idea of this shot because it had some of the famous elements of the track. The scoring pylon is in clear view near the center of the picture. The pagoda is on the right, and the cars of course are on pit road. The banner in the sky just added a little big time event excitement I thought. I wish that I could have gotten this shot just before the start of the race today. The full stands and loaded track would have made this picture even better.
