Day 122: Where Will This Road Take Me?

Today on my way into work I noticed that the fog was moving in quickly. I pulled down a familiar road and stepped out to take six quick pictures. I wanted to try and see if I could pull anything through the fog with HDR. As it turns out HDR imaging has nothing on the fog. The road still looked impassable. As I thought about it though I realized that this is a great picture for the end of the first third of this blog. With this being leap year I will have to take 366 pictures to complete a year. Today is day 122 and that means that I am a 1/3 of the way complete. That sounds huge to me that I have made it this far, but still needing 244 pictures seems like a big challenge ahead. I have kept finding things to keep me going so far. Small techniques or things to try that have driven this blog to the point we are at now. I have really been surprised to see some of the things that I have shot early on. I really have been growing as a photographer. As I move on I am excited to see what I will have on here as the days roll on. I can’t see what is ahead on this road, but I will still go down it because I know that so far things have worked out.

  1. The displine of a project like this really does make you stretch and reach for new skills, new ways of looking at things, and new subjects. Congrats on being so far along the road! I’m looking forward to seeing the rest of your project unfold.
