Day 100: You’ve Got Mail

Today was a great day for getting pictures. I managed to take quite a few, but I only could pick one for the post today. I picked the one that I liked the best. I spent a good part of the day in Frankfurt, Indiana. The town has a lot of great older buildings that look great in HDR. While driving through the town I noticed this old Mail Pouch ad on the back of one of the buildings. I couldn’t get a good angle of it, and I almost gave up. It was then that I noticed an alley that went behind the building. It was from there that I grabbed this picture. I love how the HDR makes the various textures pop even if it is a little overprocessed. Sometime tomorrow I will post the rest of the pictures I liked from today to my Flickr and Facebook accounts.

One hundred days into this project, and still no sign of slowing down. I have a few things that I have never tried before that I would love to give a go in the next few days. If they turn out half way decent they may find their way onto this blog. For now it is on to planning the picture for day 101.

  1. I saw the shots you put up on facebook before I saw this one. I love this one as well, you will know which ones on facebook that I liked. I think the snow really adds some more drama to the images. Makes me want to be there taking photos as well. We don’t get snow, so there will be an opportunity to do that around here.

    1. Thanks again. Yes I noticed right away when I logged on today. That page has very few fans so a little activity shows up quickly. A lot of activity like yesterday was awesome.
