Today I found this little schoolhouse not far from where I work. Earlier in this project I tried HDR with another of these small structures. The school has long since closed, and a church is currently occupying the space, but I think that it still lends itself well to HDR. All the different textures come alive here in a way that I could not achieve with just one picture. My first attempt today was a closer view of the building. Quickly I pulled back, adjusted my settings, and took this series of pictures. I liked the closer view of the schoolhouse, but seeing the full trees really added to the image I thought. Today I essentially only took two pictures (six if you count the bracketed images). I am happy with my overall results with that in mind. It is very hard to find a great subject with limited time during the week. Somedays I have something in mind when I wake up, and then you have days like today that I stumble upon something.
There is something very special about the HDR, you do it so well, love the image.
Very nice work.
