This picture has been a long time coming. Before I went HDR crazy I took several pictures of these two barns. The only difference was the fact that it was early in the fall, and I was shooting from the other direction to get the large amount of trees in the background. Today I was driving out towards the sunset when I saw the barns again. Without trespassing I could not get the sunset in the shot, but I could get some of the colors. As it turned out the fading light created what appears to be mountains in the background. I thought it would be interesting to see what I shoot over the course of this year. When I look back I will probably laugh at how much HDR I was shooting, but right now I really have been enjoying it. With a lack of color outside the HDR brings out details that give the picture some character. I love old barns, and HDR really makes them look good. I might have to find another older barn tomorrow to try again.
