Today once again I was trying to get some fall shots. To me the above shot is not exactly what I think of when I think of fall. While riding my bike through the Celery Bog here in West Lafayette I saw some Purdue students taking pictures. I slowed down so that I wouldn’t hit the ones on the bike path when I saw this butterfly fluttering around. The purple looked so rich in the sun, and the butterfly looked great as well. I shot this in manual mode as I am trying to shoot everything that way from now on. I love how it turned out, and wish that I had more chances to shoot something like this down here. Of course with the cold weather moving in I might have to wait a while.
