The Jasper County Courthouse

I made this photo a year ago while in Rensselaer for a softball doubleheader. I liked the idea of the courthouse with the school themed newspaper dispenser in front of it. You gets a little bit about the area in one photo. I have photos of this courthouse with nothing except the old courthouse in it. I like this one with the newspaper dispenser in it. My one regret is that the trash bin is in the photo.

A Return To Rensselaer?

If all goes well I will be back here tomorrow to see another softball doubleheader. The way that this season has gone so far with the weather though I won’t count any game until I actually see some action on the field. I am writing this ahead of time so hopefully I can get back here and see the new art in town. They have really had some fun with the murals downtown, and there are a few that I haven’t seen yet.
