The Newtown Post Office

This is the kind of post office that you see in most Indiana small towns. On my way to Covington last week I made a point to stop by a couple of new towns to see if they had anything interesting. Newtown is not very big, but I ended up finding some interesting things while going through it. This is a familiar type of building, but I love the way that this one looked.

Another Post Office Week

This week the theme is once again post office buildings. It kind of is more specific though. These are post office buildings that I have seen on my way to or from a softball game. We are to that time of year when I am traveling to see the kids play softball again. Part of that fun is finding new things while on the road. The small town post office is a gathering place that I always like to photograph while traveling.
