The Saratoga – Terre Haute, Indiana

The Saratoga

This is a restaurant that has been around Terre Haute since 1942. I loved the look of this place, and I stopped one morning while out for a walk in Terre Haute to make this photo. I loved the old sign and the way that the newspaper boxes were lined up here. At the time that I made this photo newspapers were on their way out. I think that they have only waned even more in the nine years since then. It won’t be long and people will ask what those things were in front of the building.

How Things Change

When I made this photo I liked it, but I didn’t think that anyone else would. It was more for me. Lately though this has kind of been what this blog is about. The things that I find interesting in the towns that I visit. I am glad that almost a decade later it finds its way onto the blog.
