Hickory Disguised As New Richmond

You can’t talk about basketball in Indiana without talking about the movie Hoosiers. Here you see a little movie history in one photo. Where the Hickory Cafe stands now was empty at the time, but they converted it into the town barber shop. That is where Norman met a lot of the people of the town early on. He also helped load a truck at the left corner of this old building. This is such a cool town with some movie history now. I will have more about the movie sites later in the year as we approach 40 years since the movies release.

Indiana Is Basketball

If you drive around the state you will see just how big basketball is in Indiana. This week March Madness starts. It will end here in Indianapolis with the Final Four taking place at Lucas Oil Stadium. I thought that this week it would be fun to look at basketball as I have found it around the state.
