Back To The Beginning

In the early days of this blog I went out looking for things to photograph every day. This was a photo a day blog to start. I committed to making one photo a day for a year. I hoped that it would help me see things better. Of course that year of training broke my brain, and now I am always looking for photos to make. I don’t know if that year helped or hurt me. If you see me around then chances are that I have my camera with me. That is mostly due to having to make photos every day for this blog. That desperation really helped me figure this photography thing out much quicker.

A Barn And A Windmill

Early on these were my favorite subjects. Truth be told I still love making barn and windmill photos. This area north of West Lafayette was a very good training ground to drive around and find things to make photos of. When the sun is going down things look even better. Here it really helped make this a fun scene.
