Going To The Beach In The Winter

I made this photo years ago while up in Michigan City. I went to the lighthouse there to make some photos. This lifeguard station was new to me at the time, and I loved the splash of color on the nearly colorless beach. We are at that point of winter now again where I just want to see color anywhere. The red of the guard house also looks great against that blue haze and sky in the background.

Going Back To The Old Stuff

Sometimes you have little gems just sitting in your archives. This has been a busy week for me so I haven’t gotten out to make photos like I normally do. It is always good to have a big back catalog to dive into. I try not to dip into this too much, but sometimes it is fun to go back and find some old photos.
