A Look Down Main Street In Lafayette
I found this old photo that I made with a camera that I was renting at the time. When I found it I realized that everything in the photo has changed since I made this picture in 2017. I was standing in front of the Lafayette Brewing Company which has now closed. Kathie’s Kandies was a favorite of the kids, but is now Hammer Donuts. Flora Candle was not here yet. Bobby T’s sits in the place of The Vegan Cheese Lady. Pete’s Diner is where the new pop up shop sits on the corner. The Noodle Shop across the street is just a vacant building. It is crazy how fast things change at times. I always think that I have made every photo of downtown. With how fast things change though I may never do that.
The Sony RX1 II
I rented the Sony RX1 II to take to Austin City Limits one year. I wanted a camera that I could get into the venue that could also make good photos. This camera was amazing. It was the camera that started me thinking about switching over to Sony. Based on this rental I bought my first Sony point and shoot camera. They just know how to make a good camera. This was my leaping off point.
