A Downtown Meant For This Theme

Downtown Lafayette is one of the places that I immediately thought of when I cam up with the theme for this month. The lights look good everywhere, and the contrast between those lights and the dark night sky are kind of what this whole theme is about. I only went for a short walk on the night that I made this photo, but it was a fruitful one.

Black And White February

For this entire month my afternoon theme is black and white photos. I started this a couple of years ago because I was not seeing any color around. That year I made every photo of the month black and white. Of course I saw the best sunrises and sunsets that entire month. I couldn’t post them though because of the theme. This year I am just posting my black and white images in the afternoon. It is a fun way to play with the fact that there is not much to see out there with my theme.
